The students from the Geography Department of Vedanta embarked on a two-day educational tour to Sawai Madhopur, aimed at acquiring knowledge about various geographical sites. During their excursion, graduate students conducted a survey of Ranthambore Fort, which attained UNESCO World Heritage status in 2013. Additionally, they explored landmarks such as the Trinetra Ganesh Temple, Chauth Ka Barwada Temple, the National Park, and delved into wildlife observation and natural plant studies. Furthermore, they visited the Rajiv Gandhi Natural Science Museum, enriching their understanding of the National Park's ecological significance, nestled amidst the Aravalli and Vindhya mountain ranges. The tour effectively conveyed the importance of these sites to participating students, elucidating their significance within the department's curriculum.
